我想問關於侵占罪的刑罰?

我朋友在超商工作，但沒想到後果就拿了收銀機1000元
隔天就被發現了，他們店長直接就報警了
警察說這樣的案件不屬於竊盜，為侵占罪..

因為我朋友因為急用就拿了錢
他是因為起了貪念才拿了錢...這是第一次..
事後要放回去也來不及了，前好像也掉了...

想問這類的侵占罪會怎樣受刑罰?

如果私下和解了，法院還會再追朔以及刑罰?
