彭博報導，英國4月製造業成長高於經濟師預期，產值飆升至8個月高點，出口也增加。

Markit Economics今天在聲明中表示，製造業採購經理人指數（PMI）從3月的55.8增至57.3。彭博訪調的32位經濟師預估中值為55.4。數值高於50代表擴張。

在本週公布的數據顯示，第1季製造業生產擴張幅度創4年來最快後，Markit的報告為英國復甦正在消費者支出以外領域擴張增添佐證。央行英格蘭銀行（BOE）決策者承諾在經濟閒置產能耗盡之前，會將基準利率維持在歷史低點。

Markit資深經濟師杜布森（Rob Dobson）在聲明中表示：「製造業延續2014年初強升的氣勢。國內市場強勁和全球經濟情勢改善，支撐這些成果。」

杜布森表示，這項指數暗示第2季製造業成長可能超越1.5%。這週公布的數據顯示，第1季製造業生產擴張1.3%，締造2010年來最快的速度。（譯者：中央社陳昱婷）1030501
