（中央社華盛頓20日綜合外電報導）美國前總統小布希（George W. Bush）今天接受冰桶挑戰，並點名前任總統柯林頓（Bill Clinton）也接受挑戰。

小布希穿著Ｔ恤坐在陽台上說：「告訴所有給我下戰書的人，我覺得淋冰水實在不像總統做的事。」「所以呢，我捐錢就好了。」他的影片張貼在YouTube。

接著小布希太太蘿拉．布希（Laura Bush）入鏡，並給他澆了一桶冰水，小布希驚嚇之餘、痛苦地大大「哇」了一聲。

蘿拉拿著冰桶說：「錢是我出的，所以水就澆在他頭上，我可不想弄壞我的髮型。」

小布希之後點名柯林頓接受挑戰。他說：「昨天是柯林頓生日，我給他的生日禮物就是一桶冰水。」

這個活動是為了漸凍人協會（ALS Association）籌募慈善經費，這個組織今天表示，從7月29日到8月20日已經籌募到3150萬美元，遠遠高於去年的190萬美元。（譯者：中央社何世煌）1030821
