九合一選舉，新北市議會藍、綠版圖大翻轉，66席中，國民黨從上屆的30席掉了4席，而民進黨則從28席增加了4席，一消一長，也讓泛綠問鼎正、副議長寶座希望濃厚，民進黨議會黨團上午開會討論正副議長選舉相關投票、監票作業，黨主席蔡英文親自督軍，再次下達嚴守黨紀，務必一票都不能跑，違者將面臨開除黨紀處分。
