marimekko前進中東搶賺貴婦財

marimekko積極展店，於阿拉伯聯合大公國的杜拜設立第一家門市，並附設marimekko cafe，首度插旗中東市場。

來自芬蘭的marimekko與中東的金融中心杜拜擁有截然不同的特質，marimekko來自冰天雪地，設計常以北歐隨處可見的森林、湖泊與花朵為主題，崇尚自然與有機。而杜拜位於沙漠，是世界知名的人工城市，崇尚華麗炫目的奢華美感，marimekko進駐將為紙醉金迷的杜拜帶來清新氣息。

marimkko銷售總監Paivi Lonka表示，阿拉伯聯合大公國消費潛力驚人，加上杜拜是購物天堂，在此展店勢必提升消費者對marimekko品牌的認知度。

marimekko選在杜拜當地充滿時尚氛圍的卓美亞區（Jumeirah）內的Boxpark購物中心卡位，4月初將於杜拜購物中心開設第二家店。此外，marimekko與中東及印度地區經營超過40年的國際時尚生活品牌零售業務BinHendi公司攜作，將目標放眼科威特、卡達、沙烏地阿拉伯等，計畫於2018年前迅速擴展8家門市。
