打擊IS 星馬加強國防合作

馬來西亞昨天與新加坡簽署軍事合作協議，希望透過軍事合作，共同對抗「伊斯蘭國」（IS）威脅，並強化海域安全合作。

馬來西亞國防部長希山慕丁（HishammuddinHussein）與新加坡國防部長黃永宏發表聯合聲明指出，兩國昨天已簽署協議，提升兩國國防部隊的合作，包括交換軍備及情報，以因應共同的安全課題。

聲明表示，兩國的麻六甲海峽巡邏計畫（MSP）將繼續執行，並會持續加強麻六甲與新加坡海峽的安全，包括加強雙方海軍合作。

另外，兩國也會尊重在五國聯防、東協國防部長會議（ADMM）及東協國防部長擴大會議（ADMM-Plus）的承諾，持續探討及配合相關國防安全議題。至於非軍事領域也會繼續合作，包括去年大馬東海岸大水災的賑災工作。
