田中將大確定擔任開幕戰先發。美聯社

紐約洋基今天正式宣布，本季開幕戰將由「神之子」田中將大掛帥主投，同時這也代表球隊另一張王牌沙巴西亞（CC Sabathia）連續6年在開幕戰先發的紀錄宣告中斷。

最終決定由田中擔任開幕戰先發，總教練吉拉迪（Joe Girardi）表示，除了肯定田中去年的貢獻外，也因他在熱身賽表現優異，「但我們在開幕戰會限制球數。」外界預測大約在90球，田中目前在春訓期間從未投超過60球。
