紐約時報報導，已卸任的美國「伊拉克重建特別監察長」鮑恩首度公開追查多年的結果，指控伊拉克官員十年來私吞了十二到十六億美元（約台幣三百六十億到四百八十億元）的重建經費，藏到黎巴嫩鄉間一個碉堡裡。
